Discharge Album Design.

A collage style re-design of the 1982 hardcore punk album by Discharge: Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing. I find this album slaps the hardest when knee deep in war documentaries.

PROCESS:
This project started as a vehicle to implement collage into design work.  I started with the collage before layout sketching — Gotta' keep the collage feeling organic.
The type for the album name was created using Letraset — My go-to for clear type with a hint of texture.

To reflect the fast and pissed nature of their music, and as a call back to the original, the "Discharge" type needed to be drippy, inky, and dirty. To create this, I used a paint pen on a clear sheet protector.
